Mariah Carey lancera son nouvel album intitulé «E=MC²» au moi d'avril. Jermaine Dupri, will.i.am et Rodney Jerkins ont réalisé des chansons de ce disque tandis que T-Pain et Damian Marley y prêtent leurs voix.
Selon Billboard.com, on retrouve sur «That Chick» des chansons pop comme «Lovin' You Long Time» ou la pièce titre, des ballades comme «Love Story» et des morceaux urbains et dansants comme «Migrate», qui met en vedette T-Pain.
«Touch My Body» est une chanson R&B coquine. «Cruise Control», sur laquelle chante Marley, marque quant à elle un nouveau son pour Carey qui s'aventure ainsi en territoire musical jamaïcain.
Le dernier album de la chanteuse fut «The Emancipation of Mimi» lancé en 2005.
Il fut l'album le plus vendu cette année-là.
